Overview |
| The Korg MicroKontrol NativeHost is an application developed in Cycling74 MaxMSP. Its´ use is to overcome the major limitation of the MicroKontrol to send relative Midi CCs only when Korg NativeMode is enabled which has to be supported by the host. As very few hosts support that proprietary protocol the aim of the NativeHost is to act as translator. It acts as Host for the MicroKontrol, translates the incoming data to standard relative midi CCs and tells those to hosts that don´t support Korg NativeMode. Plus, the Korg MicroKontrol NativeHost acts as a Midi CC library and patchbay where you can set the actual Controler Value and channel. You can save those settings and build up your own library to switch which remote objects you want to control. All those settings including the actual Value are represented in the Korg´s LCDs as well. |
